FORTY FORT: Candy&#8217;s Place, The Center for Cancer Wellness, 190 Welles St., Suite 120, is now offering Pilates classes. Pilates is a body-conditioning routine that helps build flexibility, muscle strength and endurance in the legs, abdomens, arms, hips and back. Pilates classes are only available to cancer patients and their caregivers. Class size is limited. To reserve a spot, call 570-714-8800.

KINGSTON: Maternal and Family Health Services, in partnership with the Northeastern Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is offering free breast screenings and mammograms for those who qualify from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Vision Imaging, Pierce Street.
Eligible women will receive both breast exam and mammogram free of charge. Appointments are necessary and can be made by calling 1-877-626-6648. Transportation assistance is available.
Participants must meet the following eligibility requirements:<ul><li>Ages 40-64 (Individuals under 40 who meet eligibility guidelines, have high risk factors, or have a family history of breast cancer may also be eligible)</li><li>No medical insurance or limited insurance with a high deductible</li><li>Low to moderate income, for example $29,175 for 1 person, $39,325 for a family of two</li><li>United States citizen</li></ul>
