Crusaders win 9th straight

First Posted: 10/27/2014 Minnesota Vikings linebacker Michael Mauti has been limited to special teams and reserve roles in his first season and a half in the NFL.
But video of the former Penn State star making a tackle in the Vikings&#8217; 19-13 overtime victroy over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday had many Nittany Lions fans flocking to the Internet, perhaps to put the heartbreaking loss to Ohio State out of their minds.
Mauti stopped Tampa Bay punt returner Trindon Holliday with a solo tackle midway through the fourth quarter. The violent hit led one web site to post a headline on the video reading, &#8220;Michael Mauti killed a man.&#8221;
For the record, Holliday was not injured on the play. He was hit by Mauti as both were running full speed in opposite directions and ended up several yards behind were he started. It was Mauti&#8217;s only tackle in the game.
A vine of the video had well over 100,000 views as of Monday morning.

&#8226; For the second week in a row, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson had a touchdown reception. This week, Robinson pulled in a 48-yard touchdown pass as the Jaguars lost to the Miami Dolphins, 27-13. He finished the game with five catches for 82 yards. Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake had five solo tackles and one sack in the game. Dolphins defensive tackle Jared Odrick assisted on one tackle. Jacksonville linebacker Paul Posluszny is out for the year with an injury suffered in Week 7.
&#8226; Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali had one tackle as the Chiefs defeated the St. Louis Rams, 34-7.
&#8226; Seattle Sehawks tight end Brett Brackett served as a reserve in the Seahawks&#8217; 13-9 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Brackett did not have a catch. He signed earlier in the week with Seattle. Seahawk offensive lineman Garry Gilliam also served as a reserve in the game.
&#8226; San Diego Chargers center Rich Ohrnberger and guard Johnnie Troutman started in the Chargers&#8217; 35-21 loss to the Denver Broncos.
&#8226; Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still had three solo tackles as the Bengals defeated the Baltimore Ravens. 27-24. Baltimore Ravens rookie offensive lineman John Urschel served as a reserve in the game after being pressed into action as a starter the previous two weeks.
&#8226; Indianapolis Colts center A.Q. Shipley served as a reserve in the Colts&#8217; 51-34 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
&#8226; Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould hit his one extra point attempt as the Bears lost to the New England Patriots, 51-23.
&#8226; Green Bay Packers tight end Andrew Quarless had two receptions for 19 yards as the Green Bay Packers lost to the New Orleans Saints, 44-23.
&#8226; Atlanta Falcons linebacker Nate Stupar served as a reserve but did not record a tackle in the Falcons&#8217; loss to the Detroit Lions, 21-19.
&#8226; Oakland Raiders center Stefen Wisniewski was at his usual starting position as the Raiders lost to the Browns, 21-13.
&#8226; Defensive lineman Jack Crawford and the Dallas Cowboys played the Washington Redskins Monday night.
The following players were inactive: Minnesota Vikings linebacker Gerald Hodges, Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Jordan Hill, Tennessee Titans defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt McGloin and Arizona Cardinals linebacker Glenn Carson.
