Romo factor overshadows Cards’ success

Just when you thought reality TV couldn&#8217;t get any more controversial or crazy, it does. And it gets even racier.
WE TV, the home of Kendra and Hank, is bringing the UK show &#8220;Sex Box&#8221; to the U.S.
Just what is &#8220;Sex Box,&#8221; you may ask?
Well, it&#8217;s just what it sounds like.
A couple will enter a box and have intercourse. After about seven minutes, they will come out and tell all about their experiences before a panel of sex experts.
No! No! No! We&#8217;ve had too many couples open their bedrooms for us in 2014.
Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian unapologetically became the poster children for adultery on VH-1. Tori and Dean displayed every wart in their marriage for the world to see on Lifetime. Kendra followed suit accosting Hank for cheating.
Add all this into the Fantasy Suite on &#8220;The Bachelor&#8221; and &#8220;The Bachelorette,&#8221; and we&#8217;re over-sexed.
Now, the TV viewers don&#8217;t even get a bedroom. Or the wine. Or the rose. No wooing.
We get a box. And sex. Just sex.
The sex-perts are Dr. Fran Walfish, a child, couple and/or family psychologist with a private practice in Beverly Hills, and Dr. Chris Donaghue, an international sex and relationship expert who is a &#8220;licensed clinical therapist, nationally certified sex therapist, and doctor of clinical sexology and human sexuality,&#8221; and Dr. Yvonne Capehart, a Christian pastor in Florida, who founded &#8220;Healed for Real&#8221; Healing and Deliverance Conference, and the YC Publishing Company. She is the president of the music company 2BLEEV. She has appeared on TBN, Daystar, The Word Network and other Christian shows and networks.
In other words, they are people who should know better.
Safe sex, this ain&#8217;t.
Danielle Stewart is the host whose job is to interview the couple before they have sex, because, well, you know, you always get interviewed before you have sex.
And in those hot seven minutes, what else happens? Well, the experts will sit outside and discuss the couples chances of having a lasting relationship! They will also chat about what they think the couple is doing while inside the box.
Haven&#8217;t we learned anything from VH1&#8217;s show &#8220;Dating Naked?&#8221;
And there are more has-been celebrities attempting to cash in on a reality show to make, or keep, themselves relevant. Christina Milan, who hasn&#8217;t had a hit record since 2004 comes to E! in her show &#8220;Christina Milian Turned Up.&#8221;
Milan blames her absence on having a child, perhaps, she should just admit that she is a mediocre performer.
Now that would really be reality TV.
The show follows Milian&#8217;s career, love life, and her relationship with her Cuban-American family: her overprotective mother/manager Carmen, her two feisty and outspoken sisters Danielle and Liz, and her daughter Violet.
If you thought you just haven&#8217;t quite satisfied that Kardashian fix just yet, head for the Hollywood hills. &#8220;Dash Dolls&#8221; on E!, which probably should be renamed K!, brings us the behind-the-scenes look at the girls who run those Dash clothing boutiques, with occasional appearances by Khloe and Kourtney.
And the first family of reality TV, the Osbournes are even poised to make a comeback in a special for MTV.
So, 2015 aims to be an even crazier year for TV viewing than 2014. And that was the year that brought us Kim Kardashian&#8217;s third (and second televised) marriage, Todd Chrisley&#8217;s family, the downfall of Honey Boo Boo and the discovery that a &#8220;Duck Dynasty&#8221; family member can really dance.
Where&#8217;s scripted TV when you need it? Oh well, we can always keep our fingers crossed for 2016.
