First Posted: 11/10/2014 Clear and sunny skies will kick off the week, but a chance of snow could step in by the weekend.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 36 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. Clear skies and a calm wind greeted early risers this morning.
Clear and sunny skies are expected to continue today, with a high temperature reaching 59 degrees.
Clear skies will hang around through the evening. Tonight&#8217;s low will be around 42 degrees.
Mostly sunny skies will continue through Veterans Day on Tuesday, with a high near 61 degrees. Areas of drizzle are expected Tuesday night after 8 p.m., with a low in the high 40s.
Rain showers could appear by mid-week, with snow showers sneaking in on Thursday.
