We want to win another championship to give us all the championships this year.&#8221;Wyoming Valley West coach Drew Feldman, whose team won the District 2 Class 3A Duals Tournament earlier this month.Match of the dayIn Class 3A, Wyoming Valley West&#8217;s Jamaar Taylor defeated Dallas&#8217; Cole Dixon, 3-2 on a last second escape to advance to today&#8217;s semifinals.A historic forfeitIn the 126-pound Class 2A bracket, a historic win occurred when Nanticoke&#8217;s Krystal Danielle defeated Western Wayne&#8217;s Evan Grimm via forfeit advancing to the semifinals becoming the first Wyoming Valley Conference female wrestler to ever earn a district medal. She can finish no worse than sixth and the top six in each weight receive a medal.She got the win because Grimm, due to religious beliefs, didn&#8217;t want to wrestle a female. The two can possibly be matched up again in the third-place match with a spot at regionals on the line.&#8220;I was on another mat with a different wrestler when I found out about it.
