First Posted: 9/12/2014 Dallas was able to take two out of three matches in singles action and despite a split in doubles was able to bring home a 3-2 win over MMI in high school girls tennis action on Friday.
MMI Prep&#8217;s doubles team of Gaby Becker and Annika Fisk were able to grab the only doubles win of the night for their squad.
Coughlin 5, Tunkhannock 0
The Crusaders swept all matches against the Tigers and only dropped two sets during the entire contest. The doubles team of Kira Meager and Sarah Jamieson won the third tie-breaking set to allow for the sweep.
 Pittston Area 4, Crestwood 1
Elaine Menichelli won No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-1 over Emily Shiplett in a victory for the Patriots.
The No. 2 doubles team of Sara Swartz and Sarah Belehoski recorded Crestwood&#8217;s lone win of the day with their 6-1, 6-1 victory.
Wyoming Area 5, Wyoming Valley West 0
The Warriors did not drop a single set against the Trojans as they swept all matches en route to a victory. Anna Thomas and Lauren Perry won both singles sets of their matches, 6-0, while Kierstin Grillo finished her sets off, 6-2.
Wyoming Seminary 5, Berwick 0
Dropping only a single set during all five matches, the Blue Knights were able to sweep all matches against the Bulldogs. Madison Nardone won her match, surrendering only a single point.
