DALLAS &#8212;Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. Donations from participants are gratefully accepted and needed in order to expand this program.The following is the menu for the week of June 8:MONDAY: Chicken Verona, Italian vegetable medley, herbed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, chocolate-coconut pudding, milk and coffee.TUESDAY: Spaghetti and meatballs, garden salad, steamed garlic spinach, breadstick, fruit sorbet, milk and coffee.WEDNESDAY: Open face hot pork sandwich, chicken vegetable soup, oven-roasted potatoes, whole wheat bread, peach bread pudding, milk and coffee.THURSDAY: Bag lunchFRIDAY: Meatloaf, green and wax beans, mashed potatoes, Melba toast, sugar cookie, milk and coffee.
