BERWICK &amp;mdash; Two workers were injured in an explosion at an acetylene and propylene gas plant on Wednesday.
The blast occurred at about 1 p.m. at the Western International Gas and Cylinders facility in Salem Township.
Investigators said two employees were painting inside the building when a tank exploded.
One worker may have suffered internal injuries when he was thrown to the ground, authorities said, and was flown to a hospital.
The other worker was taken to the hospital by ambulance with a burn to his hand.
Their conditions were unknown the cause of the blast remains under investigation.
