According to state police, a vehicle operated by Anthony M. Dzubiak, 19, of Swoyersville, went out of control while negotiating a left curve on Route 29 around 7:30 p.m. The vehicle&amp;rsquo;s right front end struck the wall, police said.


Police said Dzubiak was driving a 1996 Buick Skylark Custom. A passenger in the vehicle, Tara L. Cox, 18, of Forty Fort, and Dzubiak were both injured and they were transported to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center for treatment. Both Cox and Dzubiak were listed in stable condition, according to a Geisinger spokesman.

Both were wearing lap and shoulder belts, the police reported.

Nanticoke City EMS responded to the scene, along with Plymouth Township fire and police personnel. Trooper Kevin Seidel investigated for state police at Wyoming.
