Liquor enforcement officer charged with giving bar classified information about raid

PLYMOUTH -- Police said they are investigating an attempted child abduction from a residence on Mill Street on Sunday.
Police said a 5-year-old girl was playing behind her home when a man emerged from brush and grabbed the child&amp;rsquo;s shoulders from behind at about 11:15 a.m. The man told the child he was taking her to jail, police said.
Police said the child screamed and kicked at the man. A second child screamed for their mother, who ran out of the house and after the man, police said. 
Police said the man fled and was last seen running on Lee Street. He is described as a white male, 20s or 30s, dark brown or black hair, approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing black shoes, black pants, a black shirt and a black baseball-style hat, police said. He also had a dirty appearance.
The child was unharmed, police said. 
Anyone with information about the man is asked to contact Luzerne County 911.
