Violations: Working containers in ware wash area, used for storing cleaners taken from bulk supplies, were not marked with the common name of the chemical. Observed pans of sauce stored directly on the floor in walk-in cooler area, rather than 6 inches off of the floor as required. Potentially hazardous ready-to-eat food prepared in the food facility and held for more than 24 hours, located in the walk-in cooler, is not being date marked. Provided and reviewed proper date marking guide for Retail Food Facilities. Customer self-service single-use plastic tableware is not displayed in a manner so that only the handles are touched by customers. Observed food employee washing pizza cutter in the handwasing sink. Reviewed proper usage of handwashing sink with person in charge. No sign or poster posted at the handwash sink in the serving area to remind food employees to wash their hands. Sign was provided during this inspection.Curry Donuts, 733 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, June 15. Regular inspection; in compliance. Violations: Observed donuts coated with peanuts and coconut, both allergens stored directly above other ready donuts in the display case. This was corrected during this inspection and the peanut and coconut coated donuts were moved to the bottom shelf of the display case during this inspection. Toilet rooms do not have a self-closing door. Observed two holes in the ceiling in the mixing room. One hole approximately 6 inches in diameter, is located above the floor stand mixer. The other hole is approximately 4 inches in diameter in the back left corner of this same room. Dispensing nozzles on cappuccino machine, food contact surfaces, were observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Interior surface of microwave, a food contact surface, was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Observed cream dispensing machine in the self serve area, with an accumulation of old food residue and debris on non-food contact surfaces. Equipment observed in the handwash sink, indicating uses other than handwashing. Person in charge removed equipment during inspection. Restroom is not provided with a covered waste receptacle for sanitary napkins. Restroom does not have a self-closing door. Food facility is not using an approved detergent-sanitizer in both compartments of the two compartment manual warewashing equipment. the handwash sink in the kitchen area was covered with a board and not accessible at all times for employee use. Observed a build up of mold like residue in soda gun holster in the bar area. Person in charge cleaned during inspection. Observed cleaned and sanitized utensils stored in drawer that was not clean to sight and touch. Person in charge cleaned drawer and utensils during inspection.
