ASHLEY: Centenary United Methodist Church, 26 N. Main St., recently announced that beginning on Sunday, July 5, the Sunday morning church worship times will be changed from 9:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Sunday School will be held for children during the worship service. There will be Sunday School during the summer this year due to no Vacation Bible School.MOUNTAIN TOP: St. Paul&#8217;s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 316 S. Mountain Blvd., is sponsoring a blood drive 1-6 p.m. Tuesday, 23. Everyone is invited to donate the gift of life.A free movie night will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 29. The movie will be &#8220;Unbroken.&#8221; All are welcome.A children&#8217;s summer camp program for children ages 3-5 and a new school-age program for children who have completed kindergarten through second grade are being offered. Two eight-day sessions for the 3-5-year-old group will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Thursday. Cost is $96 per session. Session one will be held July 6-16 and session two will take place July 20-30. For children who have completed kindergarten, first or second grade, the session will be held 9 a.m. to noon July 20-30. This year&#8217;s program is &#8220;Imitate Jesus!&#8221; The three-day event will begin at 9:20 a.m. on Friday, June 26. An estimated 6,800 people are expected to participate in the Bible-based programs. There is no admission fee. Conventions of Jehovah&#8217;s Witnesses are supported entirely by voluntary donations.
