Customers who lost water service late Friday night in Sugar Notch,  Township and Warrior Run areas are advised to boil their water as a precaution until further notice. 

Pennsylvania American Water crews were dispatched shortly after 10 p.m. Friday night to the 700 block of South Main in Sugar Notch when a 12-inch water line burst. The line was repaired by 4 a.m., company spokeswoman Susan Turcmanovich said. 
It is unknown why the pipe broke, but most customers only experienced a decrease in water pressure, Turcmanovich said.
