<b>First Posted:</b> 6/12/2008<br><br>JACKSON TWP. - A 72-year-old man will be charged with criminal homicide after he allegedly shot and killed his 36-year-old stepson at their Fairfield Road home early Thursday evening, police said. 

George W. Carson, of Fairfield Road, Shavertown,&amp;nbsp;is accused of killing&amp;nbsp;Kevin J. Sult, who died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to Luzerne County District Attorney Jackie Musto Carroll.
An argument between the stepfather and stepson turned deadly, Carroll said, adding that a Sult family member was planning a wedding reception at the home this weekend. 
Carson is being held at the state police Wyoming barracks awaiting an early morning arraignment before District Judge William Amesbury in 

Wilkes-Barre .
Police are still investigating the motive, said state police Lt. Rich Krawetz.
