Clinton to end historic candidacy, support Obama

JENKINS TWP. - A man facing charges in Luzerne County Court in connection to assaulting his girlfriend was arrested Tuesday after she claimed he attempted to stab her with a knife. 

Township police charged Edward Patrick Czock, 41, of Main Street, with simple assault, terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, stalking and harassment. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 bail. 
Czock was arrested in February by township police after the woman claimed he struck her. He was ordered by a district judge not to have any contact with the woman stemming from his arrest in February. 
A lawyer for Czock filed a petition to modify Czock's bail in May, in which, would permit him to contact the woman. 
The woman claimed, according to court records, that they reconciled their relationship.
