Parker leads Spurs past Celtics, win 8th straight

First Posted: 9/19/2013 (AP) Johan Larsson had two goals to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 5-2 preseason victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night.
Defenseman Brayden McNabb added a goal and two assists for the Sabres, who improved to 3-0 in exhibition play.
Buffalo scored the last four goals. McNabb's left point shot was deflected by Larsson past Carolina goaltender Anton Khudobin at the 18:36 mark of the second, tying it at 2, and Cody Hodgson scored off a Thomas Vanek pass to give Buffalo a 3-2 lead in the third.
Zach Boychuk and Chris Terry scored for Carolina (0-2). Radek Dvorak had two assists, and Khudobin made 24 saves.
Buffalo goaltender Ryan Miller stopped 34 shots.
