European soccer proposes 10-game race abuse ban

First Posted: 1/21/2013 Mrs. Adele (Zdanowicz) Wudmaska, 93, of North Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, fell asleep in the Lord Sunday morning at her residence.
 Born Sept. 22, 1919, in Wilkes-Barre Township, she was a daughter to the late William and Agnes (Kemsel) Zdanowicz. She was educated in the Wilkes-Barre Township schools.
 Mrs. Wudmaska was a lifelong faithful member of Holy Assumption of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, North Wilkes-Barre.
 Until her retirement, she was employed as a shoe repairer for the former Prestige Shoe Co. of Wilkes-Barre.
 Mrs. Wudmaska was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Stephen Wudmaska, on Nov. 1, 2000. At the time of his passing, the couple shared 53 years of married life together.
 Additionally, she was preceded by an infant son and several brothers and sisters, including John Kalinowski, William Kalinowski, Adam Kalinowski, Michael Kalinowski, Jack Zdanowicz, Stella Laskowski and Helen Opet.
 Surviving are her daughters, Miss Rita Wudmaska, at home, and Mrs. Joan M. Fugok and her husband, Lawrence, of Plymouth Township; grandchildren, Mr. Lawrence Fugok and his wife, Natasha, and Mrs. Stephanie Bly; great-grandchildren, Abriella Fugok and Wyatt Bly; many nieces and nephews.
 Mrs. Wudmaska's family would like to gratefully acknowledge the compassionate professional care their mother received by her physician, Dr. John M. Kish, D.O., and the staff of Erwine Hospice in her final days.
 Funeral services with Panachida will be conducted on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the North Wilkes-Barre location of the John V. Morris Family Funeral Homes, Inc., 625 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Assumption of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church with the Very Rev. James G. Hayer, pastor, as celebrant.
 Interment with Rite of Committal will follow in the parish cemetery, Lake Street, Dallas.
 Relatives and friends may join Mrs. Wudmaska's family for visitation and remembrances Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a Parastas service conducted at 5 p.m. Tuesday with Father Hayer officiating.
 In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Wudmaska's name to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 695 N. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705.
