First Posted: 1/1/2013 Mildred Garrison Brown, 95, of Lemon Township, passed away at the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock, on Dec. 31.
 Mildred was born July 5, 1917, in Lemon Township, the daughter of the late Archie and Hazel Clark Garrison. She graduated from Tunkhannock High School in 1934. She was married to the late H. Roland Brown. 
Mildred enjoyed gardening and making sure her house was spotless. She was a hard worker and took care of her grandchildren, and enjoyed picking berries.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mildred was preceded in death by a son, Bryce Brown; two sisters, Catherine Garrison and Geraldine Montross. 
She is survived by a brother, Clark Garrison, of Tunkhannock, and two sons, Gary Brown and wife Betty, of Tunkhannock; Linn Brown and wife Donna, of Tunkhannock; grandchildren, Gary Mark, Jennifer and husband Joe, Barbara and husband Garrett, and Dennis and wife Katina, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday at the convenience of the family at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Richard Womer of the Tunkhannock Assembly of God officiating. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
