WILKES-BARRE &#8212; As part of the Healthy Mouth Movement, Aspen Dental will dedicate a day &#8212; Saturday &#8212; to providing dental services free of charge to our nation&#8217;s veterans.Dentists and team members from more than 300 Aspen Dental practices across 31 states will give back to veterans in their local communities on Saturday.The local Aspen Dental office at 29 Bear Creek Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, is participating in the event. A news release from Aspen Dental&#8217;s corporate office directs veterans to call 1-844-ASPENHMM (1-844-277-3646) to find a participating office and schedule an appointment in advance.The Healthy Mouth Movement is a community-giving initiative launched by Aspen Dental to deliver free dental care and oral health education to people in need across the U.S.In its inaugural year, the Healthy Mouth Movement served close to 3,000 patients with the involvement of nearly 2,000 Aspen Dental volunteers. In total, doctors and team members delivered more than $1 million in free dental care.Aspen Dental is partnering with Got Your 6, a collaborative campaign that works to empower veterans and strengthen communities nationwide by uniting veterans&#8217; organizations and engaging civilians to bridge the civilian-military divide. Got Your 6 &#8212; meaning &#8220;I got your back&#8221; &#8212; focuses on six key pillars of veteran reintegration, including leadership, health and education.
