DALLAS &#8212; Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. Donations from participants are gratefully accepted and needed in order to expand this program.The following is the menu for the week of July 6:MONDAY: Hot dog, baked beans, dilled cucumber salad, whole wheat hot dog, cottage cheese and fruit, milk and coffee.TUESDAY: Oven-fried chicken, oven-brown potatoes, green beans, whole wheat dinner roll, fresh watermelon, milk and coffee.WEDNESDAY: Swiss steak, dilled carrots, mashed potatoes, crackers, chocolate brownie, milk and coffee.THURSDAY: Pork with pineapple sauce, Asian vegetable medley, rice, crackers, chocolate chip cookie, mandarin oranges, milk and coffee.FRIDAY: Grilled chicken Cobb salad, minestrone soup, whole wheat dinner roll, popsicle, milk and coffee.
