<p>HAZLETON &#8212; Two men were shot this afternoon in Hazleton, and the police chief believes the second shooting might be retaliatory.</p><p>Police Chief Frank DeAndrea said a man was shot in the stomach on Bennett Court around 12:35 p.m. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton by a private vehicle and was gone from the shooting scene by the time police arrived.</p><p>A second man was shot in the same area around 2:30 p.m., DeAndrea said. &#8220;It might be a retaliatory shooting.&#8221;</p><p>DeAndrea said police did not speak with any witnesses to the first shooting, but learned that the shooter or shooters involved in the second shooting fled on ATV quads.</p><p>Police pursued four suspects riding quads through the city and captured two of them on state Route 309 across from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation&#8217;s Driver&#8217;s License Center, just over the city boundary in Hazle Township, DeAndrea said.</p><p>The chief said police had not yet &#8220;identified with any certainty&#8221; who the shooting victims are.
