<div class="metaInfo"><bylineMeta>By James O&#8217;Malleyjomalley@www.timesleader.com</bylineMeta></div>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A woman convicted of stabbing a man after an argument will spend 11 to 23 months in Luzerne County Correctional Facility, court papers say.Lisa Marie Keane, 29, of Wilkes-Barre, was sentenced Wednesday before county Judge Fred A. Pierantoni III on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, according to court documents.A 30-month probation term will follow her incarceration, court papers indicate. She was given credit for 5 days served.Jurors in May found Keane guilty of stabbing Michael Buscemi on July 19.According to a criminal complaint, a dispute between Keane and Buscemi ended with Keane chasing the man to her neighbor&#8217;s Hutson Street apartment and kicking him in the head before stabbing him in the wrist and thigh with a kitchen knife.&#8220;He beat me in front of my kid. I had to stab him,&#8221; Keane allegedly told a responding officer. The complaint says she asked another, &#8220;What else was I supposed to do?&#8221;Police on scene advised her to refrain from making further statements, the complaint says.Buscemi told police he and Keane were drinking when an argument erupted between them, the complaint says. But a witness told officers Buscemi fell asleep after drinking too much and became irate when Keane tried to make him drink water.The witness alleged Buscemi shoved Keane and struck her in the head, the complaint says.
