Edwardsville man charged with domestic assault after police hear wife’s screams for help

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Four down, one more to go.</p><p>Former Wilkes-Barre City Employees Federal Credit Union assistant manager Amanda Magda Plisko pleaded guilty Monday to bank fraud for witnessing a loan document she knew contained a forged signature.</p><p>The loan obtained by former city police officer Tino Ninotti, 35, on March 23, 2012, had Dino Ninotti&#8217;s signature only Dino Ninotti never signed the document as he was in Afghanistan at the time, U.S. Assistant Attorney Michelle Olshefski said.</p><p>Olshefski said the $25,086 loan was for a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck former Wilkes-Barre city towing contractor, Leo Glodzik III, was selling to Tino Ninotti, Olshefski said.</p><p>Olshefski noted the truck was never going to be sold to Tino Ninotti as the truck was used as collateral for the loan.</p><p>Plisko, whose maiden name appears on court documents, is the fourth person to plead guilty to bank fraud related charges in connection to deceptive loans generated from the credit union located on the first floor of Wilkes-Barre City Hall.</p><p>Plisko, Tino Ninotti, former city police officer Jason Anthony, 35, Jeffrey Serafin, 36, and Glodzik, 44,were separately indicted by a federal grand jury in August 2014. A superseding indictment was filed against Plisko and Glodzik in April charging them with more bank fraud offenses.</p><p>Tino Ninotti, Anthony, and Serafin pleaded guilty earlier this year to conspiring to commit bank fraud.</p><p>Sentencing for Tino Ninotti and Anthony is scheduled on Aug. 17. Serafin was sentenced May 5 to time-served in custody and three years of supervised release.</p><p>Glodzik&#8217;s trial on multiple bank fraud and tampering with a witness charges is scheduled for July 20, although a federal court document filed last month indicated plea negotiations are underway. Glodzik is further scheduled for trial July 27 on a charge of being in possession of three firearms while being a convicted felon.</p><p>During Monday&#8217;s hearing before U.S. District Court Judge A. Richard Caputo, Plisko said she did not process the loan Tino Ninotti secured.</p><p>Under the plea agreements, Tino Ninotti and Plisko will be required to testify against Glodzik if Glodzik&#8217;s trial is held.</p><p>Plisko, a beauty school graduate, resigned from her employment at the credit union in August 2014. She is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 6.</p><p>Anthony was accused of signing a woman&#8217;s name when he refinanced a $7,159 loan on Jan. 15, 2014. Serafin was accused of refinancing an $8,000 loan in 2011 his mother-in-law secured from the credit union in 2007, and signing his mother-in-law&#8217;s name without her knowledge.</p><p>Federal authorities served subpoenas for loan documents at the city credit union in March 2014. Soon after, James Payne, manager of the credit union, took his own life inside is Bear Creek Township home on March 10, 2014.</p><style>
