KINGSTON: Recovery Inc., a group for adults suffering from depression and anxiety, conducts meetings at 7 p.m. every Thursday at Dorrance Methodist Church, Wyoming Avenue. Mountain Blvd., holds Food Bank Day on the first Sunday of each month. Non-perishable items are needed. Some of the items requested are coffee, peanut butter, jelly, ketchup, canned soup, canned fruit, mustard, mayonnaise, tuna, canned pasta, pork and beans, cake mixes and icing, pasta and spaghetti.The Yarn Spinners will continue to meet on the first Wednesday of each month. The next meeting will be on Aug. 5. The group will be working on lap robes for St. Luke&#8217;s Home, Hazleton. Anyone able to crochet or knit, or anyone interested in learning, is invited to attend the meeting. Dinner will be offered from 5:30-5:50 p.m. The school will include games, science gizmos, songs, Bible readings and treats. Participants should wear play clothes and safe shoes, since most of the activities are hands on.
