Kingston Pool reopens after vandalism

<p>Julie Lynn Kalinas and Daniel William OFier were united in marriage on Aug. 9, 2014, in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingston, by the Rev. Paul Metzloff.</p><p>The bride is a 2014 graduate of Pittston Are Senior High School and plans on pursuing a degree in the medical field.</p><p>The bride is the daughter of Joseph Kalinas and Theresa Collins, Pittston. She is the granddaughter of Joseph and Ellen Kalinas, Luzerne, and Barry and Linda Collins, Avoca.</p><p>The groom is the 2013 graduate of Pittston Area Senior High School and is currently a SPC in the United States Army.</p><p>The groom is the son of Dan and Mary Ellen OFier, Suscon. He is the grandson of Genevieve OFier, Duryea, and Shirly Antal, Laflin.</p><p>The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose Allison Lee Kizer as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brianne Leigh Collins, aunt of the bride, and Trina Marie Davila and Marina Paige Maida, friends of the bride.</p><p>The groom chose Ryan Robert Hetro as best man. Groomsmen were John Michael Morrison, friend of the groom; Cody Joseph Kalinas, brother of the bride; and Kyle Phillip OFier, brother of the groom. Jordan Tyler Kalinas, brother of the bride, served as usher.</p><p>Readings were given by Joseph T. Kalinas, grandfather of the bride, and Lawrence Corridoni, godfather of the groom.</p><p>The bride was honored with a bridal shower hosted by her mother and the mother of the groom at the Irene Raeder Clubhouse, Laflin. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the bride and groom at one of the couple&#8217;s favorite restaurants, Tony&#8217;s in Pittston. An evening reception was held in Jenkins.</p><p>The couple honeymooned in Paris, France, in January and have been traveling to many places in Europe.</p><p>They&#8217;re stationed in Germany with their fur-baby, Chief.</p><style>

Kalinas, OFier
