Kiwanis supports little league

<p>The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Alumni Constituent Society hosted its 20th annual &#8216;Masters&#8217; golf tournament on Friday, July 10, at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club in Mountain Top. The tournament raised approximately $6,000, which will be used to support a variety of programs for Penn State Wilkes-Barre students, including the Student Mentor Program, Academic Excellence Awards, THON and other student initiatives. One hundred and twenty golfers took to the greens. Golfers had the chance to win various hole-in-one prizes and other contests during the day. The tournament also featured a raffle with gift certificates and prizes donated by local businesses. The winners of the captain-and-crew-style tournament received a Penn State Wilkes-Barre &#8216;Masters&#8217; blazer with 24K gold-plated Penn State buttons.
