<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A suspect accused of domestic assault welcomed police at his residence while smoking a spice blunt on Sunday, city police said.</p><p>Police arrested James Wilson, 38, of Madison Street, on charges of simple assault and possession of a controlled substance. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.</p><p>Police investigated a domestic disturbance at the Madison Street residence at 3:43 a.m. when Wilson opened the door smoking a spice blunt. Police said a woman inside the residence had an injury but she refused medical treatment.</p><p>The woman was arrested when police learned she was wanted by Kingston police on a drug paraphernalia charge.</p><style>
