State Auditor General DePasquale seeks citizen input on planned audits in Luzerne County

FALLS: The Falls Active Adult Center, State Route 92, Exeter Township, is hosting a representative from Rep. Karen Boback&#8217;s office to discuss state-related issues and concerns 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Aug. 12.The center will have a Hawaiian Day lunch Thursday, Aug. 13.A lunch-and-learn session with Rebecca Knaub, a rehabilitation teacher from the Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services, will be held Wednesday, Aug. 19,There will be a craft fair 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the center. There is still space available for two indoor vendors and unlimited space for outdoor vendors.MOUNTAIN TOP: The Mountain Top Social Club will meet 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the Father Nolan Day Room at St. Jude School.The bus will depart at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, from St. Jude&#8217;s parking lot for a day trip to Mount Airy Casino.Another trip is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20, to Woodloch Pines for dinner and a show.For more information, or to register for a trip, call Otto Eime at 570-407-0056.
