<p>FORTY FORT &#8212; Dunkin&#8217; Donuts re-opened at 2 p.m. Saturday to the delight of many customers who consider the shop more than just a place to get a coffee and a bite to eat, but a social hub.</p><p>Luis Rosario, regional manager of May Brands franchise that runs the store, alongside his wife Stefani, made his way among customers, many of whom he knew by their first names.</p><p>He welcomed them back to the shop which had been closed for six days for a remodeling project, which he said was not only aesthetically pleasing, but technologically current.</p><p>The remodel reflected a &#8220;Jazz Brew&#8221; brand of decor chosen among four others, with a specific variation of layout, color scheme and lighting.</p><p>&#8220;We now have USP ports available for customers, as well as WiFi,&#8221; said Rosario. &#8220;So in addition to having a quick bite and something to drink, many of our customers are on their phones and computers.&#8221;</p><p>Rosario said he looks forward to an influx of teenagers frequenting the establishment following the opening of local schools, enjoying everything from milkshakes to variations of coffee to their favorite flavors of ice cream.</p><p>&#8220;Regulars&#8221; also gather at the shop like clockwork, sharing more than simply a love for coffee, but long lasting friendships.</p><p>Mary Ann Romanowski, Swoyersville, had visited the location earlier in the day to buy a pound of coffee, and was undeterred by the fact that it was yet to open.</p><p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t even know they were closed, but I&#8217;ll be back,&#8221; she said.</p><p>Romanowski, like many customers, visits the store several times a week.</p><p>Biker Jerome Regan, Wilkes-Barre, said he arrives faithfully at the shop by motorcycle every day.</p><p>&#8220;There are some of us here every evening,&#8221; he said.</p><p>Regan said when the shop was closed the bikers frequented other Dunkin&#8217; Donuts, but they just weren&#8217;t the same.</p><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s good to have the place up and running again,&#8221; said Regan, who especially appreciates its patio area during warm summer months.</p><p>To Bob Spearing, the re-opening of the shop provided opportunity for him to spend an afternoon with his father, James Spearing.</p><p>James is a resident of Kingston Manor, whose favorite Saturday afternoon activity is simply drinking coffee at Dunkin&#8217; Donuts, &#8220;dark with milk and no sugar.&#8221;</p><p>Son Bob specifically makes the trip from New Jersey several times a month to do just that, and was happy to find the shop open upon his arrival.</p><p>Manager Ciera Pimental said customers flocked to the store throughout the day, complimenting the staff on the complete re-do of the store which included, in addition to the interior facelift, a new sandwich station and brewing platform.</p><p>Co-owner Eric May was enthusiastic about the renovations and the opportunity to better serve customers.</p><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s going to speed service,&#8221; he said.</p><p>A grand re-opening will be held in the near future, during which the store will offer various menu specials.</p><p>May said he appreciates his customers&#8217; patience through the renovations and hopes they will enjoy the new atmosphere.</p><p>&#8220;The people of Forty Fort have been great,&#8221; he said.</p><style>
