<p>Usui Reiki masters Mary Ann Gaprindachvili and Pat Nicolino will host Reiki Level II training from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Candy&#8217;s Place, 190 Welles Street, suite 120, Forty Fort. An expansion of Gaprindachvili and Nicolino&#8217;s Reiki Circle, this training session will certify participants in Level II Reiki. The session is limited to ten people and the cost is $125 per person. You must be certified in Level I Reiki to participate in this training session. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch. Reiki is one of the many services offered by appointment to the public at Candy&#8217;s Place. A monthly Reiki Circle is held during the first Saturday of each month where participants act as both the practitioner and recipient of Reikia. The cost is $10 per person and the next Reiki Circle is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 5. Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation that can promote healing by activating the relaxation response and helping the body to balance itself.
