<p>The local average gas prices held steady overnight, while the state and national averages continued to drop.</p><p>AAA Mid-Atlantic provided the following data for today&#8217;s average gas prices:</p><p>&#8226; Wilkes-Barre area gas average at $2.49 today, unchanged overnight and down 5 cents in the last week. Diesel at $2.84 today, unchanged overnight.</p><p>&#8226; Pennsylvania gas average at $2.56 today, down a penny overnight and down 6 cents in the last week. Diesel at $2.88 today, down a penny overnight.</p><p>&#8226; National gas average at $2.56 today, down 2 cents overnight, down 10 cents in the last week. Diesel at $2.60 today, down a penny overnight.</p><style>
