Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders lower magic number to 3

<p>WEST HAZLETON &#8212; Borough police made three drug-related arrests in three separate traffic stops over the past week.</p><p>Last Tuesday at about 1:08 a.m., an officer on patrol in the area of North Broad Street noticed a vehicle being driven with allegedly faulty equipment. During the course of a traffic stop, officers recovered cocaine and drug paraphernalia from inside the vehicle, police said.</p><p>Juan Jesus Rosario, of Hazleton, faces charges related to possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, along with summary violations including driving without a license.</p><p>Then on Friday around 11:43 p.m., an officer on patrol in the area of Spruce Street noticed a vehicle being driven with allegedly unlawful equipment. During the course of a traffic stop, officers recovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia from inside the vehicle.</p><p>Franklin Leivy Anziani, of Hazleton, faces charges related to possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, along with several summary violations including driving without a license and driving a vehicle with unlawful equipment.</p><p>And on Sunday, an officer on patrol at about 1:52 a.m. noticed a vehicle commit a moving traffic violation on Susquehanna Boulevard, police said.</p><p>While conducting a traffic stop, police said, officers discovered the driver allegedly possessed heroin and illicit prescription medications.</p><p>Dustin Yoder, 32, of Mifflinville, Columbia County, faces three misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia and numerous summary violations for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver&#8217;s license and displaying/possessing a suspended driver&#8217;s license, police said.</p><style>
