Berwick, Crestwood keeping opener in perspective

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police are investigating a shooting on Coal Street at the entrance to the Sherman Hills apartment complex Thursday night.</p><p>Several city police officers were conferring at the intersection of Coal Street and Empire Court at about 10:40 p.m. when they found shell casings.</p><p>Several evidence markers were placed next to shell casings lying on a section of Empire Court right at the edge of Coal Street. They weren&#8217;t far from the sidewalk that wraps around the corner on which the Coal Street Deli and Market is located.</p><p>One officer was taking photos of the scene.</p><p>Police said Friday they were dispatched to Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where they found a woman who injured herself while running from the gunfire.</p><style>
