<p>The family of Margie Holodnak presents the Margie Memorial Award&#8221; each year in late September or early October to an individual who does the most to help the Women&#8217;s Resource Center, and at the same time defines Margie&#8217;s character, her love of life, family and community. The recipient of this award must have had a positive impact or is actively involved with the Women&#8217;s Resource Center. Margie was a victim of domestic violence and was murdered at age 26.
