Kind doctor encouraged Kingston man to turn his life around

A spaghetti and meatball dinner will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 to raise money for a Remembrance Monument in honor of Phylicia Thomas.Thomas has been missing since Feb. 2004, when she disappeared from her Lake Township home.Since then, her family and friends have continued to both search for information and to host events remembering her life.The dinner, to be held at the Music Box Theatre, Swoyersville, will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, drink and dessert. Takeouts are available.Tickets for the event will be priced at $8 for adults and $5 for children, 4-10. Children age 3 and under will eat free.
