DALLAS: The Irem Women&#8217;s Auxiliary invites the public to attend their final summer luncheon beginning at noon on Sept. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Irem Country Club. Prizes will be awarded.The menu for the luncheon is choice of chicken scampi over rice pilaf or baked ham and scalloped potatoes, rolls/butter, carmel apple pie, coffee and tea.Price of the luncheon is $18 and reservations may be made or cancelled by 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14. For 2015 total income requirement in household for one person is $21,590; two people, $29,101. These classes need only to be re-newed every 3 years and entitles you to a discount on your car insurance.Only a few seats are remaining for the trip scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6, to the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse. Host and hostesses will be Dominick Emerick, Bernardine Kulp, Mary Hoinski, Mary Ann Jasonis and Joan Magdalinski. They are to be at the hall by 11:30 a.m. to set up refreshments and clean up afterwards.The building is handicapped accessible.SWOYERSVILLE: The Swoyersville Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church social hall.Winners of the fifty-fifty fundraiser were Theresa Yurko and Clara Belle Reggie.The club welcomed two new members; Helen Kopetchney and Mary Niccoli.Howard and Lorraine Stibgen treated members to refreshments in observing their birthdays and anniversary.WILKES-BARRE: The St. Robert Bellarmine senior&#8217;s will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, in the school cafeteria. The church is located at the corner of Lee Park Avenue and Division Street.Refreshments will be served and activities for the coming year will be discussed.Bingo and cards will be played, and as always new members are always welcome.WYOMING/WEST WYOMING: The Wyoming, West Wyoming Senior citizens met on Aug. 18 at St. Monica&#8217;s parish hall in West Wyoming.The fifty-fifty winners were Mickey DeSalvo, Aliyak Brennen, Angie Zagurski and Eugene Stanczck.The Bingo jackpot was taken by Helen Markert.Our next meeting is today, Sept. 1, and the bakers are Theresa Alexander and Eugene Stanczak.
