KINGSTON &#8212; The Wyoming Valley West School Board voted Wednesday to approve the continued implementation of the district&#8217;s bullying policy.According to the district&#8217;s website, harassment or bullying on school property, at a school-sponsored activity or school event off school property, or on a school bus on the way to or from school will not be tolerated.Witnesses or victims are encouraged to report the incident using a form found on the school&#8217;swebsite: <a href="http://www.wvwspartans.org" target="_blank">www.wvwspartans.org</a>.In other business, the board voted to appoint:&#183; Brian Palladino as high school emotional support teacher at a salary of $43,208, effective immediately.&#183; High school support teachers Ryan Prohaska, math; Nikki Nortaon, art; Brittany Driscoll, world language; Mallory Lewis, English; Katherine Olshefski, English; and Christine Attanasio, music.&#183; High school mentors Mary Rose Novitski, Mary Mattern, Kristen Evans, Karen Sopp, Thomas Griffith and Andy Kolojejchick.&#183; Middle school support teachers Jessica Ras, Lindsay Sutkowski, Samuel Cohen and Suzanne Hall.&#183; Middle school mentors Andrew Barilla, Jennifer Frusciante, James Casey and Scott Coates.The board also accepted the resignation of Leonard Butczynski, middle school math chairperson.<div class="metaInfo"><bylineMeta>By Camille FiotiFor Times Leader</bylineMeta></div><div class="metaInfo"><factboxMeta>WHAT&#8217;S NEXTThe Wyoming Valley West School Board will hold a work session at 7 p.m. Oct. 14, with the regular meeting to immediately follow, at the middle school, 201 Chester St., Kingston.</factboxMeta></div><div class="metaInfo"><shirttailMeta>Reach the Times Leader newsroom at 570-829-7242 or on Twitter @TLnews.</shirttailMeta></div>
