WYOMING &#8212; During the Sept. 8 meeting, the borough council approved the following:&#8226; The sale of a police interceptor cruiser to the Borough of Courtdale for $14,000.&#8226; The bids received by the Wyoming Hose Company No. 2 for a generator, folding partitions and kitchen equipment/appliances subject to approval by the project manager&#8226; The change in orders to Stell Enterprises for additional work for the First Street sewer project. The council also approved paving Monument Avenue between First and Second streets for a sum of $19,000.In other matters:Borough Solicitor Jarrett Ferrentino said he has been in communication with the local bank about demolition of a blighted property at 103 Monument Ave.The PA Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is sponsoring a National Child Passenger Safety Technician Course to certify officers, public safety personnel, childcare workers and nurses to properly secure child car seats in vehicles. The course will be held Nov. 5 and 6 and Nov. 12 and 13.
