Local students recipients of MileOne Automotive Group scholarships

<p>Jamie Daron and Augustine James Laferrera were united in marriage on Friday, March 20, 2015 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Jersey City, New Jersey, by Deacon Luke Hally.</p><p>The bride is the daughter of Craig and Ruth Daron, Shavertown. She is the granddaughter of the late Durland and Edith Daron, of Dallas; and the late Leonard and Julia Narcum, of Hanover Township.</p><p>The groom is the son of Anthony and Kathy Laferrera of Basking Ridge, New Jersey. He is the grandson of the late Augustine and Rose Laferrera of Brooklyn, New York; and James and Sue Cornell of East Brunswick, New Jersey.</p><p>The bride chose her sister, Bethany Daron Francis, as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Alyssa Laferrera, sister of the groom, Amanda Hoffman Gibson, Amanda Flannery, Jillian Krakosky, and Nikki Weissman, all friends of the bride.</p><p>The groom chose his brother, Anthony Justin Laferrera as his best man. The groomsmen were Jason Daron, brother of the bride, Steven Monastero, Joseph Sutherland, Patrick Brown, and Zach Alexander, all friends of the groom.</p><p>Readings were given by Katie Tomek, cousin of the bride; Jessica Huda, cousin of the bride; and Doreen Haney, aunt of the groom. Special music was sung by Karen Hardy, cousin of the groom.</p><p>An evening cocktail hour and reception was held at the Liberty House, also in Jersey City.</p><p>The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lake Lehman High School and in 2007 earned her Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in finance and philosophy from the University of Scranton.</p><p>The groom is a 2004 graduate of Ridge High School in Basking Ridge New Jersey and in 2008 earned his Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in communications from the University of Maryland College Park. He also earned his Master&#8217;s Degree in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland in 2015.</p><p>The bride and groom are both employed by McGraw-Hill Education.</p><p>Following honeymoon trips to Jamaica and Europe, the couple resides on the Upper West Side of New York City.</p><style>
