<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Kingston man who was arrested twice this year for violent assaults on his ex-girlfriend must complete a batterers&#8217; intervention program as part of his sentence.</p><p>Jade Anthony Care, 25, pleaded guilty on Sept. 9 in Luzerne County Court, admitting to two counts of simple assault and one count of terroristic threats in separate attacks on Paige Stanley.</p><p>County Judge Joseph Sklarosky Jr. on Wednesday imposed a sentence of time served to 12 months, with Care paroled door-to-door into an inpatient facility, court records show.</p><p>Police said Care was first arrested March 1 after he punched Stanley inside the Mohegan Sun Hotel in Plains Township.</p><p>As officers approached the hotel room, Care &#8220;put his hands behind his back and stated, &#8216;I did it,&#8217;&#8221; according to a police affidavit.</p><p>Police said they observed Stanley to have recent facial injuries that day.</p><p>Stanley then told police she was sleeping when Care came into the room and punched her, according to the affidavit. She further alleged that he had grabbed her by the throat, then threw her against a wall and threatened to kill her.</p><p>Care attacked Stanley again on June 3, according to police, this time at the Seven Tubs Nature Area near Route 115, also in Plains Township.</p><p>Police said Stanley told officers Care refused to leave her vehicle after they visited the nature area that evening. Stanley called 911 to report she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend</p><p>A witness also called 911, claiming she saw Care punching and headbutting Stanley, according to an affidavit.</p><p>Stanley, who suffered facial injuries &#8212; including a bite mark on her cheek &#8212; was treated at a local hospital, police said.</p><p>Care allegedly admitted striking Stanley after she grabbed his groin.</p><p>In addition to treatment, Care also will have to serve an additional year on probation. Sklarosky also ordered that he have no contact with the victim.</p><p>Care also will have to serve 20 hours of community service.</p><style>
