First Posted: 9/18/2014 Allied Services Integrated Health System will host a series of rehab technology screenings. The free screenings, taking place in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre, will allow children and adults who have experienced stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy or spinal cord injury to explore whether new rehab technology can aid in their recovery or daily life.
The screenings will be administered by Bioness, a company that utilizes functional electronic stimulation to help people regain mobility and independence. Allied Services and Bioness will hold multiple screenings over the next few months. Screenings are free, but appointments are required.
