<p>DALLAS &#8212; At Wednesday&#8217;s meeting, the council approved an amended estimate for costs related to Phase II of the borough&#8217;s Downtown Master Plan in the amount of $265,500. T</p><p>he plan, prepared by Quad Three Group, will be forwarded to the state Department of Community and Economic Development to be included in the local share grant contract. The estimate relates to street lights within the perimeter of the proposed roundabout. The borough will be responsible to pay expenses in excess of $250,000.</p><p>In other business, the council:</p><p>&#183; Approved an ordinance adopting the 2012 edition of the International Property Maintenance Code regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures.</p><p>&#183; Authorized the purchase of a new dump trailer from Bradco Supply Company in the amount of $7,980. Funds from a municipal recycling grant through the state Department of Environmental Protection will be used to purchase the trailer.</p><p>&#183; Approved the hiring of John Williams as a part-time road department worker at an hourly rate of $11, pending clearances.</p><p>&#183; Approved the hiring of Michael A. Kretchmer as part-time police officer at an hourly rate of $11 during the training period.
