First Posted: 3/14/2014 DURYEA &#8212; UGI Penn Natural Gas will begin a natural gas main replacement project next week in Duryea. This infrastructure project will take place on Foote Avenue from McAlpine Street to York Street.
Natural gas main replacement construction will generally be performed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Gas service line and meter work to individual homes and businesses also will be performed during construction. UGI will require access to buildings along the route to complete of the project.
Motorists may experience some traffic delays because of this work.
Construction is expected to take a number of months. UGI hopes to complete the project by mid-to-late summer.
