Remembering days gone by

First Posted: 5/28/2014 AMVETS Post #189, along with cooperation from VFW Post #4909, sponsored this year&#8217;s Dupont Memorial Day activities. All veterans and veteran supporters met at the Dupont V.F.W on Main Street. A memorial service was held at the Polish National Cemetery. The veterans then traveled to the Sacred Heart Cemetery and conducted memorial services immediately following Mass at the church. Following the parade, a memorial program was held at the Dupont Borough Memorial Lawn.
