Kotsenburg uses a new trick to take 1st gold

First Posted: 3/24/2014 Steven Newell, above center, recently competed represented Dallas Middle School and Area 12 at the PJW youth states in Harrisburg where he placed fourth in all of Pennsylvania. The state of Pennsylvania is divided into 13 areas and only two wrestlers from each area qualify to compete at states. Newell qualified first from Area 12. Newell also placed fourth at PJW Championship in Harrisburg at the Harrisburg Farm Show Arena on March 21 and 22. He is a four-time state qualifier, placing fifth in 2012 and fourth this year. He also is a two-time Eastern National qualifier, placing fifth in 2012 and second in 2013.
