Trio of Spartans lead Misericordia’s surge

<b>First Posted:</b> 1/31/2013<br><br>Eagle Day will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Endless Mountains Nature Center.

Watch for bald eagles along the river, see a presentation about nesting eagles, and discover how many eagles nest in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Naturalist Rebecca Lesko will discuss the eagles of the Vosburg Neck, and conduct a guided walk to the Susquehanna River with activities.

Wildlife photographers Jim and Joan Borden will share their photos and experiences through a slide presentation. 

Expert bird watcher Joe DeMarco will be searching for eagles along the river, and will answer questions.

There will be a craft project for children, plus refreshments and hot chocolate.

The Endless Mountains Nature Center maintains public walking trails and offers nature-related programs for people of all ages. The Nature Center is a non-profit serving Northeastern Pennsylvania. Its mission
is to preserve the natural environment by providing educational opportunities and recreational activities. It is headquartered at Camp Lackawanna, which is located on Vosburg Road, off Route 6 between
Tunkhannock and Meshoppen. The Lodge is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
