Family Service Association honors Zelnick and Thalenfeld

<p>The Holy Year Choir of Transfiguration of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church, in Nanticoke, marks its 40th year anniversary today. The choir has been directed by Dr. Richard Barno since its founding in 1975, with Reverend Nicholas Fisanick and Reverend Myron Grabowski as founding pastors. The choir sings four-part responses to Divine Liturgy at the church in Slavonic, English, and Ukrainian, and has also performed at various church and community functions over the years. All are invited to attend Divine Liturgy this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in honor of the choir and its members. Members of the choir, from left, front row, are: Geraldine Adamchak and Olga Yurkowski.
