First Posted: 12/9/2012 Pittston welcomed in the holiday season with the lighting of its Christmas tree on South Main Street last Sunday. The tree is on display in the lower Tomato Festival lot across from the Open Space. Children enjoyed a visit from Santa Claus, who arrived on a Pittston City fire truck. Hot chocolate was provided and attendees enjoyed singing Christmas carols.
