<p>A young author from Pittston has published his first book, and he will be holding a book signing on Saturday, Sept. 26 inside the Student Center Ballroom at Wilkes University from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.</p><p>Zachary Brunotte, a minister at Perspective Church in Pittston, has written &#8220;The Purpose of Pursuit,&#8221; which the author describes as a spiritual and inspirational book.</p><p>Brunotte said the motivation for the book came from his work in ministry, in which he often leads people in sermon and bible study. He explained that his now father-in-law, the primary minister at the church, got him into youth ministry when he was 15 years old.</p><p>Now 21 years old, the adult minister and college student, said the book is about focusing on the journey toward achieving one&#8217;s goals, not the destination, and bettering oneself along the way.</p><p>&#8220;Success is not simply about where you&#8217;re going; it&#8217;s about what you learn and who you become along the way,&#8221; Brunotte said.</p><p>Brunotte is currently majoring in counseling with a focus on patients recovering from addiction to drugs and alcohol at Grand Canyon University Online, but he said he would like to refocus his efforts on ministry eventually and hopes to have his own church one day.</p><p>The fledgling author offered a glimpse into the motivation communicated in his inaugural publication. &#8220;Sometimes we feel we&#8217;re so far away from a goal that we give up on it,&#8221; Brunotte said. &#8220;We all have the right to achieve a goal in life if we work hard at it.&#8221;</p><style>
