<b>First Posted:</b> 9/29/2010<br><br>Don Patten, a veteran in business leadership and development, has been named Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Clarks Summit.In his new role, Patten will lead and oversee advancement, which includes fundraising, special events, alumni, and church relations. 
He and his wife, Nancy, will relocate to Northeastern Pennsylvania from Grand Rapids, Mich. Patten began work in late August. Nancy, an RN for 27 years who will serve as school nurse at the college, will start on campus once the couple moves to the area in Sept. atten most recently worked in development for Beacon Hill, formerly Michigan Christian Home, a continuing care community for mature adults.
